Miss Laxa's message this week? Writing is all about the audience! It is our job to guide the audience on a journey!
So we literally did.....
We collaborated and problem solved to create a giant classroom obstacle course. We also had to communicate our ideas clearly.
Then we had to guide one blindfolded person (our audience) through the obstacle course.
Zoe giving Lizzie instructions video
We had to make sure our obstacle course was not boring (just like our writing).
We had to make sure our instructions were clear and made sense (just like our writing).
We had to make sure our instructions were specific and detailed - how low do I go? (just like our writing).
We had to make sure our instructions were not confusing and in order ( just like our writing).
Are we communicating our ideas clearly to the audience?
when we did it it was very fun
