We are learning to take notes and locate information based on our science wondering.

Noah	I am wondering how volcanoes form into a mountain and how they start a eruption and how they get really really loud

Eunice	I wonder how can people survive a volcano eruption? Is there a way to prevent a volcano from erupting?
Qiqi	My wondering is why do we get earthquakes? Is there a way to survive an earthquake?
Millie	My wonder is how are tornadoes are formed.

Max	I wonder why there are tectonic plates, why do they exist?

W4, T1: Facing our fears

We were learning to identify some of the barriers we have in our learning. Miss Laxa helped us create some Fractured Art.  First we wrote down all of the fears we have around learning.  Then we screwed up the paper. That was like saying "these barriers will not stop me from learning". After the paper was scrunched up, we used black vivid markers to outline the wrinkle lines.  Then we coloured the spaces in between.  In the we end we created something beautiful from something that started out scary.  This is one of the examples of our work.

W2, T1: Doodle Art

This week we have been learning to express ourselves through doodle art. It was a chance for us to get to know each other.

W5, T2: Tae Kwon Do Compliment

Today Debbie paid Room 12 and Room 13 a compliment. She told us she liked our class dynamics and she liked the way we were encouraging each other. During our high kicks, we gave each others tips and we were very considerate. This term we have been working on creating positive relationships with each other and we were trying to be the best we can be.

Running Laps Haiku

Today, we are running laps to increase our fitness. We wrote a haiku to express our feelings about it.

Running Laps

No smelly armpits 

Mum buy me deodorant

Because I smell yuck!
