W9, T3: Calendar Art

For our calendar art, we studied what makes a great photo. We looked at different techniques: fill the frame, rule of thirds, lines, frame the shot, high angle, low angle and horizon lines.

After planning our shot we took photos.

Can you see the different photo techniques?

Last day to order calendars: Friday 23rd September.

Art, Art, Art

This is the rest of our artwork that didn't quite make it onto our calendar art. We are still proud of it!

Mondrian
What is the difference between Pollock and Mondrian?

Room 12 Calendar Art: Van Gogh

Who is your favourite artist? Why do we need to know famous artworks? For calendar art, we studied 3 different artists - Pollock, Van Gogh and Mondrian.

This is what we chose for our calendar art: Vincent Van Gogh's The Starry night 1889
