Class update
What a term! We've done so many things this term.
1. Well done to Brooke, Rosie, Joy, Ashton and Kane who had placings in the Swimming zone.
2. We also had EOTC week in which we practised a lot of problem solving and collaboration. It was really tricky to use Aurasma for orienteering.

Is contributing awesome?
How have you contributed today? Is it important to contribute?
Here are some awesome contributors:
Layla, Dorian, Samuel, Sejal and Hosana performed at Xfactor 2014. Special mention to Brooke and Caleb - our techies.
To those who participated in Athletics day especially our relay team Jonathan, Adelaide, Samuel and Brooke. Even though we didn't win, you gave it all and did everything you could.

Speech finalists
Well done to Luka, Daniel, Brooke and Rosie who represented Room 11 and Room 12 in the speech competition. It takes a lot of guts, determination and confidence to talk in front of your peers and teachers. You were all awesome. Be proud of yourselves!
We focussed on having an original topic, speech delivery and having a point of view/argument. What do we want the audience to think about/do after hearing our speeches? We wanted to add our personality in using personal stories/personal voice. Think about our audience!!

Daniel talked about his trip to Mars using a bouncy castle, Luka told us about the dangers of being sugar drunk, Rosie gave us an informative speech about rain/water cycle and Brooke discussed the existence of zebra unicorns. What was your favourite speech?
