Reading:Ms. Yellow teeth

Have you ever forgotten to brush your teeth? I read this book to Room 12 the other day and they looked at "making connections". Read Room 12's connections to this story and you will find that there seems to be plenty of people out there who "forget" to brush their teeth.

Hosana	Omg!!That is so like me I hate brushing my teeth but I have to because my mum forces me.It also reminds me of my cousin,her name is Faith.I don’t tell her.Her teeth smells like a yuky smell I don’t know I can’t really describe the smell because it’s so bad!!Her teeth looked really yellow like really yellow and when I mean really yellow I mean her teeth is so yellow I didn’t even want to play with her!
Layla	She looks like a boy in my class he had really bad teeth. I almost swallowed a tooth when I was four it was soo painful but I still got money extra money.
Adia	I have never seen any one like that.Im happy I brash my teeth and becouse I do it’s clener than ms yellow teeth.
Keelee	This reminds me of  my dad having no back  teeth becucse he did’nt brushing his teeth.And reminds me of swllowing my tooth on the way and felt like blood lots of blood  to my cosents house.
Yashvi	I have never seen a person not brushing his or hers teeth. It would feel so bad having no teeth that reminds me of my cousin named Tisha.She hates brushing her teeth.Her mum brushes her teeth for her and she is 3 or 4 years old.
Avara	I have never heard of someone not brushing their teeth.I would hate having yellow teeth it is just like my cousin  Allae everyday he does not like to brush his teeth.
Tania	That reminds me of my dad sometimes, his teeth are yellow too ( only some ). It’s like this sticky yellow things (I don’t know what to call it) that stick to his teeth. It’s like, really yuck. Plus, it smells disgusting.
Brooke	This reminds me of  someone in Blenheim that never brushed their teeth YUCK! The teeth are as yellow as a rotting Banana.:p Add an extra
Ana	This reminds me of went to the dentist thre had a look at my teeth
Adelaide	I do not want to brush but I do it.
Jessica	This reminds me of my friend back in malaysia, she said that she swallowed one of her tooth. When i heard about it it sound painful.I think if you had swallowed a tooth you will feel something weird in your throat. It looks like you just choked something.
James	When I was about four I didn’t like brushing my teeth but I still did it because my mum kept telling me to do it again and again.
Chris	I don’t always brush my teeth so sometimes I have bits of food stuck in my teeth.
Dylan	I used to sametimes  didn’t brush my teeth and sametimes I did ,when I did I brushed it  long, and now I brush my teeth after breakfast and after dinner , my favourte tooth paste is coloceme but when I didn’t brush  my teeth I didn’t get yellow teeth that did  suprised me, also I didnt allwase brush  my teeth when I am  holder but I still  brush my teeth every day  exepect twise  this month.
Daniel C.	I use to not brush my teeth when I was 5 then I notice how important you need to brush your teeth.Now my little brother don’t brush his teeth so he got yellow teeth now.At last my brother brush my teeth.
Hanif	Omg!!ms yellow theth never brush her theth like my baby  to becouse my baby sadi // I don,t want to brush my theth every day okay did you hear me mum okay mum and dad//.And he ran away to his bedroom and he was sooooooooo angry with his mum and dad.
Tu Ariki	I have an uncle called taimana he brushed his teeth once a day but it is still yellow and his brother does brush his teeth 2 time’s a day.but if tai doesn’t his brother give’s tai smack on the back.
Tristan	This reminds me sometimes I do not like to brush my teeth because I am so tired  when I get up. but then when my sister ask me if i brush my teeth  I say yes I did but I never.  but I learned that I must brush .  Ms yellow teeth is briter than the sun
Luka	This story doesn’t remind me of anything because in my family, nobody has yellow teeth or they had swallowed one tooth because everyone brushes their teeth in my family including me.
Samuel	It reminds me of my sister when she was little she doesn’t like brushing her teeth so one day her teeth was yellow and wiggly so to the next day my uncle took the yellow teeth out.
Arnav	Right now when miss laxer was  reading ms yellow teeth it reminds me of me and cousin combined because right now my tooth is coming out and my cousin’s teeth are really yellow,but not yellow like the sun or the rubbish bin but a bit more like a light version of the roll.By the way that’s same thing with ms yellow teeth.
Jonathan	It reminds me when I was 4 and I didn’t brush my teeth.I hated to brush my teeth and then I start to brush my teeth with no toothpaste and it still got yellow.I got worried of my teeth falling off,now i use toothpaste,the toothpaste is called colgate.
Wynstan	That story is kind of creepy which reminds me of how me and my cousin were playing outside and then I saw that my cousin teeth was yellow.,broken and the worst of all is that he was he had to wear braces.

Harvies	My brother doest brash his teeth put i do my mum and dad brash their teeth.
Daniel S.	When i was little I didn’t brush my teeth I  would just eat a mint before bed. Then my dad told me a story about  someone who didn’t brush their teeth.It  gave  me nightmares so from then on l’d always brush my teeth.
Kaleb	It reminds me when I was too lazy to brush my teeth so I forgot all about it. And so my mum thought I was brushing my teeth but I really wasn’t.So once we all got in the car we were ready to go and I had just remembered but I was too late so I ate some peppermint bubble gum...
Maria	This story reminds me of my aunty. My aunty is a dentist and she use to tell me that if I don’t brush my teeth my teeth will fall out. She’s been a dentist for 20 years and when I was little I use to help her with her patients.  Most of her patients had to have their tooth taken out. It looked painful!!!! This also reminds me of the tooth fairy. I didn’t know anything about the tooth fairy until I was in intermediate. I tried it once but it never worked. I actually enjoy brushing my teeth. I like the clean and minty feeling. I brush my teeth with toothpaste first, then floss and then I use my mouthwash. It takesveryeloooooooooooong timeime.
