Assembly

Last Friday, we had our school assembly. This was our presentation:
Our goal is to be an active learner. We found this hard and we (and our teacher) realise we can’t magically be active learners overnight. In Room 12 we have been exploring about what it means to be an active learner.Part of being an active learner is asking ourselves hard questions about how we learn. Like Room 11, we looked at what stops us from learning.We used lego movie app and took photos to show you what stops us from learning. We can use this to help us learn better and our teacher can use this in her planning. Watch our "movie" below:

    Hi Room 12,

    I really liked watching your movie on active learning. You have come up with some excellent ideas. How long did it take you to make your movie? and what programme did you use to make the titles? Active learning does take time to develop, but in the end it will make you more engaged and focused with what you are doing.

    Keep up the great learning and congratulations on your class blog. It looks amazing.

    I remember that it was soo amazing.We all worked as a team.We all did so good at the end we got a treat so yeah.I really like watching that it blew me away when we saw it at assembly.

    I want to know how happy you were with the active learner movie as we had a really had a lot of fun making the lego movie.There were lots and lots of fun making the lego movie.I wish that we could do it all day long.
