We cannot believe we have 4 more weeks until school finishes. This week we get musical. We have been looking at high pitch and low pitch and representing this using sound waves.
Using scratch, we coded our chromebooks and turned them into musical instruments. It's still work in progress! Some of us manage to play a nursery rhyme tune. Time to challenge ourselves and make our own song.
Some of our students have also been busy performing this week - our Kapa Haka and Tinikling had a dress rehearsal on Friday. The Kapa Haka will be perfoming on Saturday at the Cultural Festival. The tinikling group will be performing at the NWS Playcentre's Family Fun Day. We wish Nayla, Cristian, Taiwhakaea, Naomi, Vivian, Alexandra, Kaia, Amelia and Khalen good luck.
What a great contribution to our school.
