Learner Agency: Rangatiratanga

Last week Room 11 and Room 12 constructed learner agency levels. First, we looked at what is a self-directed learner, we reflected on where we were and if we needed to add any extra criteria. After that we discussed what kind of things you will get if you are a self-directed learner.
Examples of our reflection:
Learner Guided I think I am in learner guided because I set my own goals and try my best to reach my goal. I think I am also independent and I don’t need to get step by step instructions I only have to listen once and I know what I have to do. I also create plans to reach my goals. I also complete of my work in the time I am given to finish the task.I also give monitoring services by helping others in their work. My goal in Learner guided is to offer my own workshops to others. I also think that I should stay in learner directed because I find that I already know that I can do all the stuff in the rest of the groups. I am also independent enough to work in learner guided by myself.

I choose ‘learner Guided' because I think I am not that independent and I can’t do all the thing by myself.I think I can do the thing on learner guided. My mum said I can manage my time quite good so yeah. I do blog and miss laxa had put my post on the bulletin board before so I think I can record my progress ok.I do test often so I know what i need to learn. I didn’t change my mind because I know I not that independent and but I can do all the level lower than learner guided so I didn’t change my mind and stayed in the group that I choose in the first place.I think This level is a bit challenging for me so I stay in this group and didn't move up and also didn’t move down.
