Speech finalists

Well done to Luka, Daniel, Brooke and Rosie who represented Room 11 and Room 12 in the speech competition. It takes a lot of guts, determination and confidence to talk in front  of your peers and teachers. You were all awesome. Be proud of yourselves!

We focussed on having an original topic, speech delivery and having a point of view/argument. What do we want the audience to think about/do after hearing our speeches? We wanted to add our personality in using personal stories/personal voice.  Think about our audience!!

Rosie and Brooke came second equal overall. 

 

Daniel talked about his trip to Mars using a bouncy castle, Luka told us about the dangers of being sugar drunk, Rosie gave us an informative speech about rain/water cycle and Brooke discussed the existence of zebra unicorns.  What was your favourite speech?
